Chocolate Chip Cookies

After many years of searching, I have found the best and gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe. The secret? Brown sugar!

Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter
  • cups PACKED brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk or creamer
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • cups SIFTED flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp baking soda

Other

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Optional

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup oats

Instructions
 

  • Combine butter with brown sugar until creamy.
  • Slowly add in the milk and vanilla extract.
  • Add the egg. (Crack in a seperate bowlls)
  • In a seperate bowl, sift flour and add salt and baking soda.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the mixer. Mix until combined
  • Stir in the chocolate chips until combined (You can also add in the walnuts or oats here.)
  • Scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet with 1 inch spacing between each .
  • Set the oven to 350° and bake for 8-12 minutes. (The longer you bake, the crispier the edges will be)
